Sleep Apnea Specialists and Care Centers

Sleep apnea needs to be treated by a board-certified sleep medicine specialist1 who can help you select a treatment plan that is right for you. Your specialist may also collaborate with other members of the sleep team, including dentists, psychologists, physician assistants, nurses and technologists.

Our sleep health centers staff also includes:

  • Neurology and pulmonary critical care physicians
  • Registered polysomnographic technologists
  • Respiratory therapists specially trained in adult and pediatric sleep disorders

Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital Sleep Disorders Center
The Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital Sleep Disorders Center provides day and night sleep studies for diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, periodic limb movement disorder, nocturnal behaviors (sleep walking, talking and eating in sleep, acting out dreams) disorders and narcolepsy. Patients have the option of completing diagnostic studies at home using ambulatory monitoring technology.

The Sleep Disorders Center also sees patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago.
