Symptoms of Cystic Lung Disease

Some individuals with cystic lung disease may not have symptoms. When symptoms occur, they may include:

  • Shortness of breath
  • Chronic cough
  • Wheezing
  • Chest pain
  • Recurrent lung infections

In certain cases, complications such as a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) may be the first sign of disease.
