Symptoms of Tracheal and Bronchial Stenosis

Tracheal stenosis and bronchial stenosis cause difficulty breathing that can lead to an overall feeling of fatigue or discomfort. Other symptoms include:

  • Coughing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Wheezing
  • Difficult-to-treat asthma
  • Frequent lower respiratory infections or inflammation
  • Cyanosis (a bluish tinge to the skin, especially around the mouth, eyes and nails)
  • Stridor (a noisy or high-pitched sound when breathing)
