Treatments for Bladder Stones

Stones may be passed on their own. Treatments to remove bladder stones may include:

• Ureteroscopy: using a small scope to view and remove the stone
• Shock wave lithotripsy (SWL): using high-energy acoustic pulses to break up the stone into smaller pieces so they can be passed through urination
