Treatments for Pelvic Floor Disorders
Although pelvic floor conditions can be extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing, they are typically treatable. Depending on your symptoms and their causes, your specific treatment will be determined after a thorough evaluation and discussion between you and your team of doctors/health care providers. We are committed to providing the best possible care for every patient.
Many of our treatments are nonsurgical and involve rehabilitation of the pelvic floor muscles, which retrains your body to work as it should. However, some pelvic floor conditions will require surgery or surgical procedures to correct.
Depending on your condition or symptoms, treatment options may include:
- Sacral neuromodulation
- Sacrospinous ligament suspension
- Uterosacral ligament suspension
