Dr. Singhal is professional and personable. She let me know right away in the appointment that things are normal right now. She said they would keep on monitoring me, but otherwise I could just come back in six months. I asked the doctor if I could get the accouterments for taking the urine test for my upcoming appointment. She said I could "request that." I had a peer health navigator from a IIT/Thresholds research study (to study whether people with mental illness take care of their physical health enough) in the appointment with me. I was happy that the Hematology staff allowed her in the room with the doctor and myself. I am grateful for this.
