5.0 star star star star starThey are a very skilled active and compassionate listener who is not afraid to say "I don't know" and do the work with the patient to get to the bottom of a problem - or if there isn't a solution - offer educated guesses in favor of the patient's best interests. I have worked with this therapist at UI Health and am willing to work with this therapist no matter where they work.

5.0 star star star star starBriana is knowledgeable and kind. She took time to understand what happened with my injury, how things are going with my recovery and what I expect to achieve with physical therapy. She explains things in a really tangible way, not sugar coating... but making what might feel overwhelming seem accessible. What resonated the most however, is that during a thorough assessment of my knee I was as tense as a piano string, waiting for the piercing pain from an incredibly tender spot. She told me that she knew exactly where that spot was. I'm sure there will be discomfort and maybe even some pain during my recovery. But she chose not to cause me UNNECESSARY pain, and for that I'm grateful. I'm confident about the expected success of this process.

She definitely explains things and goes through the process from the start of rehab to the finish and pre surgery options as well. She also make me feel like we are friends, we talk sports and life and make me very comfortable every time I come in for my session

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships.
