At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
He was great, his staff were friendly, courteous and professional. They were concerned for my health an safety. For Dr. Ruff he explained everything before he started everything an after to make me to let me feel very comfortable.
Dr. Ruff and staff treated me with respect while giving me the confidence I needed in a doctor. I went to him for cataract surgery and that is exactly what I received. An excellent job well done with no complaints
Regina and Stella are very helpful in preparing you for the doctor. They are friendly and they listen to what you say offering advice and suggestions, but not beyond or in anyway conflicting with Dr. Ruff.Dr. Ruff is an expert in his field and makes you feel confident in his personal procedures with your needs.
My cataract surgeries were perfect and for years now I've been enjoying 20/20 vision. When I return each year for checkups, the office staff and technicians are always caring, friendly and efficient. I feel well taken care of.I have to give kudos and a special thanks, to Dr. Ruff's technician, Andrea! She was one of the kindest, caring, and friendly professionals I've ever dealt with! She deserves the best!
Dr ruff is a great doctor, an exceptional ophthalmologist. Was a bit disappointed in my wait today. Checked in at 10:58 for an 11am appt and wasn't called back until 11:40. I have never waited that long for an appt with dr. Ruff.
Again Dr. Ruff is the best. The ladies in front desk should treat all patients the same. I have noticed that they do not have equal treatment for all patients. This time I did not like the person who attended me at the front desk.
I have already referred 10 people to Bradley rough who all have thanked me profusely because they got excellent care. I tried desperately to get a man in Arkansas who was the husband of one of my very very dearest friends they were an elderly couple he was our fishing guide and we became very close the entire family and I and my late husband. in Arkansas they kept putting them off saying he's not ready he's not ready I said I have enough plain miles let me fly you back to Chicago and take you to Bradley rough well he never found the time to take off and his wife was very ill and he needed to stick around home but he just got it done he's 78 years old he needed it done at 62,,,,, Bradley ruff is the guardian of vision for anyone who goes to him he is an amazing man and I can't say enough about him, just at Northwestern is very glad that he chose to remain with you and not go to North shore or go into concierge practice,,, Thank you for asking and you're welcome for the answer
Bradley ruff I've been going to for 15-20 years he is a god of ophthalmology and cataracts he only does the best for all of his patients and he concentrates one-on-one he is efficient you do not have to wait you get in you get out and you are totally informed this man was meant to take care of people's sight he was born with a gift from God the entire visit was exactly up to the standards of what lake forest represented,,, I have not been very pleased with northwestern's takeover but we will see if you can redeem yourself as I have a cardiac MRI and a t e e scheduled under general anesthesia in the cath lab on the 19th of November. Bradley rough is God and if you would get rid of Palmer you'd be in a lot better shape he is a detriment to the practice of ophthalmology,, to And with 40 years of delivering babies for a living 10 of which were at Lake Forest I know of what I speak,,, Blessings to all and pray pray very hard for an end to covid-19 and may we never see it in our lifetime or our great great great great great great grandchildren's lifetime again
It's located in the building that's very nice and clean. Staffs are friendly. Especially the ophthalmology assistant that greeted me was super nice and professional. However, i only want to give 5 because of the doctor there. Everything was great except the eye doctor that i saw.
Dr Ruff is the best eye doctor and surgeon in the world. You're fortunate to have him. ALL his staff, from Regina in the front desk to all his nurses and assistants. I cannot recall the name of the physician assistant who took me to the exam room and dilated my eyes, but she was amazing.
I am a touch neurotic about things touching my eye but Andrea helped me relax and calmly accept the test (Glaucoma I think) with her excellent interpersonal skills. The Doctor was likewise calming and informative.
The staff and doctors are very friendly. From the time I walk in to the office until the end of my visit I am at ease. Although I have a serious condition, the doctor is very professional, kind, and has a gentle tone of voice. He has a very professional manner. I never feel afraid or threatened.
Dr. Bradley Ruff has been our family's ophthalmologist for over 35 years. He is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and caring. He listens, he is patient. He is a tremendous researcher up on all the latest procedures and diseases. He found cancer in my uncle's eye years ago. He has advised many relatives, friends and colleages.HE IS THE BEST
Dr. Ruff has taken care of my eyes for a very long time. I have had wonderful, kind and great care all these years. I once had an eye exam at UCLA specialist that was arranged for me as I had gotten a wet mac diagnosis from another CA doctor. The well known specialist dissed that diagnosis and noted that the work he did see on my eyes was some of the finest he had ever seen.
My rating for Dr. Ruff is high because he is a very good ophthalmologist. He has taken very good care of my eyes. The entire ophthalmology dept. is very good at scheduling, follow up calls, explain things, giving instructions, and answering my questions.
