5.0 star star star star starDr. Wiedrich, is an accomplished surgeon and so knowledgeable he continues to reinvest himself in his profession, whether writing research paper or preparing questions for exams used in med school. He had a intern with him during my visit and took the time to explain and demonstrate all he had to do for me. Impressive

5.0 star star star star starHe’s great. Attentive; kind; and enjoys sharing/educating his patients on the mechanisms of the healing process. It always strikes me when doctors – particularly those who have been practicing for a while—are still enthusiastic about their work and are (seemingly) excited to engage about the science.

5.0 star star star star starIf you want the very best of care, if you want your issues resolved the first time around, if you want to truly understand what is taking place from start to finish, if you want to be able to "participate" in your own health care...This is the location for you!

5.0 star star star star starMy initial physical retired so Dr Wiedrich assumed my care. He listened to my description of my trigger finger pain which subsided after the previous physian's shot of cortisone, and a 2nd cortisone shot months later when the pain returned. Dr Weidrich offered clear information and two solutions.

5.0 star star star star starExcellent care by Dr. Wiedrich. He has a kind and supportive bedside manner. He performed a careful assessment of my progress since wearing a splint for the prescribed duration and was even kind enough to address an additional issue with my thumb even though we were following up on my finger injury. He was clear in communicating when I should see him again and why that duration of time. I trust him wholeheartedly.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
