5.0 star star star star starDr Ravenna listened carefully and intently as I listed my many symptoms. He took time to walk through the various test results. In my case, I've got issues with thyroid and he took the time to literally show me how the brain and thyroid work together to produce hormone. This explanation made me understand my test results and reasons for treatment.

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first appointment with Dr. Ravenna. My previous primary care doctor retired and he recommended Dr Ravenna. Dr Ravenna had made a review of my medical history and thus the appointment went smoothly without me having to revisit all of my medical history in detail. Good handoff.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ravenna is prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. This is the first time I’ve needed to repeatedly see my PCP to diagnose an underlying health issue - and Dr. Ravenna has taken great care to quickly and thoroughly communicate test results.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ravenna is the best! He is so personable and real. I can tell he listens and takes notes well because he remembers details about my life (like ages of my kids). He also never seems rushed when I want to chat about something. And he’s always taken every concern I have seriously.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Ravenna takes the time to listen to my concerns & thoughtfully answers my questions. Doesn’t dismiss me like most physicians do - even NM physicians. Warm personality. And I feel he genuinely wants to help me get to the bottom of my health issues.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
