5.0 star star star star starNatalie was very friendly and encouraging when discussing my life experiences with weight loss. She helped me to better understand some of the behaviors that have made weight loss difficult for me. She offered easy to understand suggestions for a way of rethinking the weight loss process. Previously, the process was all about what I couldn't and shouldn't eat, but now I feel free to fit the foods I want to eat into my daily guidelines. By knowing this and figuring out how to incorporate them into my meals, I find myself not blindly eating around something I really want to eat, but instead controlling the portion size and in some cases, deciding that I don't really "need or want" it after all. That's progress!!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Schwartz is very personable and so easy to talk to. This is a difficult task over video calls and she does a wonderful job conducting sessions. I actually look forward to my sessions with her and always feel motivated in my care after sessions.

5.0 star star star star starI'm always treated with the utmost respect and am able to voice questions knowing I won't be judged. I don't feel rushed with my appointments (even though I know we have a limited amount of time) and I leave feeling pleased with what I've learned and the suggestions we've discussed and how to implement them.

5.0 star star star star starDr Schwartz, was personable, shared her experiences and seemed to know exactly what was needed for my situation. Admitted to not being an expert in something I asked about, which is not a common trait of most healthcare providers I've encountered in the past. Explored options, gave opinions and I felt no pressure.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
