5.0 star star star star starAs indicated above, Dr. Matheu was professional. He had reviewed my medical records. He asked me to summarize what the surgeons were doing, and he added some things that I had not mentioned and talked through them with me. He was kind and thoughtful and concerned. He reassured me that the doctors were very good and I was going to have good care.

5.0 star star star star starI'll be honest that I'm scared of doctors but Dr. Matheu is amazing in his ability to put patients at ease. He is an incredible listener and makes me feel comfortable talking about anything. He always provides sound guidance and remembers important information about me from prior visits even though I'm sure he has an immense patient load. I would recommend him to anyone, but especially those who are nervous about seeing a doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDoctor Matheu took his time asked questions, had yearly exam, B-12 shot and he also asked about my dad ( who is also his patient- but on hospice) Dr. Matheu did not rush, took his time, asked me questions and also asked how my dad was ( whom is also his patient-- that is on hospice now)

5.0 star star star star starHe is a very kind, patient, and caring doctor. I never feel that he's in a rush to see other patients. He remembers little life goals & achievements I share and follows up on them during appointments. He doesn't get upset when I have trouble articulating my problem or if anxiety arises & I need more time. He's always patient and understanding.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
