5.0 star star star star starAs a new patient, I was impressed by Dr. Corya's professional and friendly demeanor. He answered all of my questions without rushing and made sure I understood the answers. He seems like a good person, and that's important to me.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderDr. Corya was polite. This was my first annual exam at this location being new to Chicago. In comparison to past experiences with first time visits, I felt he was bored. While I am not a complex patient, general exams in my past typically include getting to know the patient outside of the "textbook" line of questions. Something like "So how long have you been in Chicago?" or general inquiry about my life would have made it feel more personal and, in my opinion, can offer context to a person's social/emotional/physical well-being. Overall, I didn't feel rushed/he didn't seem rushed. My needs were met in establishing care with a Primary Care Physician, and I plan to be back.

5.0 star star star star starDr Adam is VERY approachable and disarming in his demeanor. Hard not to like him. He is very inquisitive, but in a completely non judgmental way. As someone who is very private about health, hates the fact I have issues requiring attention and would rather be elsewhere I need someone w his approach. He seems to know a lot about medicine as well.

5.0 star star star star starVery thorough and detailed. He spent a lot of time listening to my concerns and coming up with a reasonable plan. He was honest about different treatment options. Overall, had a caring attitude.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
