5.0 star star star star starDr. Keith Leitzen is a great listener with excellent communication skills. Very thoughtful before speaking. Walks into the room prepared and having looked at tests and records, which I appreciate. Very personable.

5.0 star star star star starVery tentative to his patients. Explained everything thoroughly and took his time answering questions. Excellent bedside manners. I would recommend to others definitely. By far the best MD I have encountered at Northwestern.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Leitzen is a fantastic surgeon with a great team behind him. I had complete confidence in the plan for care from diagnosis, to the day of surgery, and into post-op. I was very happy that he treated the source of my concerns, rather than just treating my symptoms. I've never experienced better airflow through my nose than I have after surgery. In addition to surgery, he recommended I see an allergist to help keep my newly opened airways healthy. Dr. Leitzen and his team truly changed my life.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
