5.0 star star star star starShe is knowledgeable, empathetic and has strong practical skills. She is an intelligent, engaging and even fun teacher, a good listener, a steady communicator who makes normally difficult subjects feel very comfortable, and a strong overall coach, offering clear explanations and memorable practical tips and tricks. She describes take-home exercises clearly (with in-session hands-on DIY opportunities so as to help patients learn how to do them well). She is able to tailor sessions to address both previously identified and new or emerging individual needs or concerns, instead of just running through a predetermined playbook. Would recommend her to other potential patients with no hesitation.

5.0 star star star star starVani is very well versed in the care that she provides. She always took time to explain to me in detail where I was able to understand what was being done and why. She allowed me to ask and addressed any questions I had and made sure I understood. She's always on time, and overall, very personable. Ultimately, I feel like her therapy sessions help me tremendously. When I left, I left doing a lot better than when I started out! I would definitely recommend Vani to anyone in need of Pelvic PT for care. You'd definitely end your care being better!!

5.0 star star star star starShe is so knowledgeable and empathic, yet very clear about homework needed to get benefits. I have learned so much from her. She is also very funny and disarming about what could be an embarrassing topic.

5.0 star star star star starShe was excellent in her communications and her "bedside manner" to facilitate discussion of "difficult" subjects, made me feel at ease in a first session and offered helpful information that assumed patient intelligence (instead of insulting it).

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
