Dr. Galiano is a very nice person and genuinely cares about his patients. I was upset after the three slow mohs surgeries took off so much of my lower ear and earlobe. In my pre-surgery visit Dr. Galiano said not to worry because they can make a new earlobe and restore my lower left ear.

Dr. Galiano sat down with me and answered my questions and explained the different ways the procedure may go depending on different choices my main surgeon may have to make. I'm certain he is very skilled as a surgeon and great at what he does, but Dr. Galiano is also a kind human being. I feel really great about him being on my surgical team and I will recommend him to anyone else who finds themselves in a similar situation.

Dr. Galiano was referred to me by my oncologist, Dr. [last name]. So out of the gate, he had a street cred. But as I mentioned above, it was his gentleness and genuineness that made me feel like I was going to be in really good hands. Expertise was already a known entity, but I was concerned about my comfort level with Dr. Galiano. Several years ago I met with another plastic surgeon and was completely turned off by his arrogance. Clearly these doctors are incredibly talented, but the sense that I got from the previous doctor was that it was more about him than it was about me. I felt the exact opposite in talking with Dr. Galiano. He truly listened, explained things in a digestible manner, and made me feel like he had my best intentions at the forefront. And, now, with little glimpses of the healing work that has been done, my expectations are already blown away,

Dr. Galiano is clear and precise of what he is doing and explains what is going to happen. He is no nonsense, and he runs a tight ship. He tells the patient what he wants them to do prior to surgery. On the day of surgery, he will follow up, to see if you followed his orders. I did! I completely stopped smoking, and haven't looked back. I also continued to lose weight. I lost over 12 pounds from March to July and kept it off. I will continue on that journey. I didn't realize that a Mammory gland under one of my arms wasn't removed, until after surgery. He explained that would have been too much for me, and he was correct. On my post op appointment he advised in 3 months, we would take care of that as well. I would recommend him to friends & family. Very professional. Thanks!
