5.0 star star star star starDr. Mencacci, Niccolo E. MD, phD is one of the best neurologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and love the way he tries to help people with their neurological problems in regards to brain movement disorders back pain, head aches, strokes . I been with him for more than three years I try to help me by giving me referrals for physical and occupational therapy and home health care. I really appreciate what he did for me as far as fixing the movement disorder I gave up there is no cure because is like parkinson or epileptic sometimes they don't go away there is no treatment for that. I was very happy to see him yesterday I would recommend him to all my friends and people that suffer from these ailments. Sometimes I was really sick and went to the emergency room and when I was admitted into the observation room he came to my room to see me. I want to thank him for doing this because I was not able to go to his office for the appointment I want to thank him for showing his interest in me when I really needed him.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mencacci has a very pleasant affect that makes him extremely approachable. He appears to favor a collaborative approach to patient care. After having had his colleague/mentee conduct preliminary manual tests, he personally verified her input and discussed his conclusions about my medical situation with an easy style that belied his extensive academic and research background. I appreciate the opportunity to have had a consultation with him and I would highly recommend his practice for the reasons stated above. A wonderful doctor.

5.0 star star star star starIn addition to what I said already, Dr. Mencacci is incredibly supportive and encouraging. I found him through a friend when I was dissatisfied with the care I was receiving from another neurologist from another hospital. Her diagnosis was correct but her demeanor was not. I am blessed to be treated by Northwestern in general, Dr. Mencacci in particular.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
