5.0 star star star star starRheumatology is tough. This thing I am dealing with currently, was missed by others and I was frustrated. I had to use AI to enter my symptoms and it popped up with PMR. I contacted my primary care and he ordered the tests. Since PMR is an inflammatory disorder triggered by heart attack (common) - I would have hoped cardiology would have paid attention when I told them that something is causing extreme pain in my hips and shoulders. This is a thing - and I lost 6 weeks because I couldn't walk and couldn't dress myself. They told me to take Advil... couldn't do cardio rehab because of PMR. Not good

5.0 star star star star starHis bed-side manner is stellar. Rheumatology is tough and when you are suffering, you do not want to prolong a single moment without treatment. Dr Giangreco and his staff are on top of things. I sent a message one morning at 6:00 am and a nurse called me to schedule a diagnostic ultrasound. Amazing!!! This is the way it should be. Thank you!

5.0 star star star star starHe is truly everything you wish for in a doctor. Not only did he diagnose a condition I have that several other doctors had not been able to, he has been treating me for that condition( which is a challenge since it is an autoimmune condition) several years with concern. I look forward to my visits. Not only does he spend all the time needed for my questions and concerns, I always leave the visit optimistic.

5.0 star star star star starExtremely knowledgable. He was on top of things. Obviously, he read everything in my chart. Considerate and an exclellent listener. I came out of there feeling much better. I waited a long time to get into him and it was well worth the wait.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Giangreco LISTENed to me. What had gone on to this point. He did not assume to know what I have gone through the last month. After he gave me his thoughts and then a course of action to get to the bottom of what was going on. Very empathetic.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
