5.0 star star star star starDr. Duong was kind and efficient. She gave an overview of everything she was going to do ahead of time. Also during the procedure she said what she was doing and what sensations I would be feeling. Afterwards she gave me printed literature that explained next steps. She was fantastic.

5.0 star star star star starI have a 9 score just because I haven't yet had surgery by her. I really liked her explanations and listening skills, and she explained everything I needed to know and gave me handouts to read as well.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Duong was excellent; very informative, answered all of my questions, and put me at ease during the actual physical exam. She even texted me my good (negative!) test results the next morning! That indicates what a compassionate, empathetic doctor she is, and how much she cares for her patients...

5.0 star star star star starI have never had a doctor call me prior to surgery! She was not rushed and I was able to be part of the decision making. Furthermore, the day of surgery she came in to say she had been thinking is what might happen, explained it, and showed that she was planning for the best outcome for me.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
