5.0 star star star star starDr khan was maybe the best doctor I've ever talked to. She took time To listen and wasn't rushing me out the door like most providers. She asked my how I felt about certain treatment options vs just telling me what to do.

5.0 star star star star starMy first appt with Dr. Khan was very pleasant... very professional, and very caring! She listened intently to my concerns... Her exam was thorough.... And, her explanation of a plan moving forward made perfect sense, and I felt totally assured that I was in good hands under her care. I have no hesitation or reservation traveling 55 miles to see her!

5.0 star star star star starAs a referral from my ophthalmologist Dr. [last name], I was most pleased to obtain an appointment with Dr. Khan on such short notice. It was a pleasure to meet her, and she and her staff were most accommodating to my old age idiosyncrasy. During the visit with Dr. Khan, she was most attentive and thorough in her examination and interview. She didn't rush the process and answered all questions with concise responses and delved further into those that didn't have a clear answer or diagnosis. All in all it was a wonderful visit, among the best I've had over many years of health care. Thank you Dr. Khan!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Khan was very thorough, taking over an hour of her time, with Phyllis and me (husband and caregiver). She was supportive throughout the visit, drawing out Phyllis's feelings and opinions. She was also encouraging about her ability, but graciously honest about her diagnosis and prognosis. While we didn't come away with as much hope as we'd wished for, we did find a conclusive diagnosis and clear path forward. She also offered all the supportive additional services available, but with Phyllis's choice as to whether or not to avail herself of them. Strongest recommendation!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Khan was incredibly patient during my appointment and did not rush through anything. She explained everything in detail, allowing me to fully understand each aspect of my visit. She is the kindest and most patient physician I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a neurologist.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
