Ratings and Reviews
At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
I went to Dr. Senall for a second opinion and the appointment I had with him is what I was expecting when meet with my own doctor which i did not get. Dr. Senall asked questions and listened to my concerns. We reviewed my x-ray and MRI images together and he was explaining to me what he saw. He examined my ankle and made me feel confident about the decision.
Happy with the medical staff and thorough Nature of the appointment. They took time to access MRI outside of NM network rather than my having to reschedule my appointment until I could get a copy of the scan
[See Question #1] for the above reason. This could have been taken care of at the initial visit. I am also put off that I can not get the Covid-19 test at any location as which I can get the Pre-Op Physical done. It takes valuable time to have this happen.
I found Jeffrey Senall competent, I am having him do some revision surgery in my left forefoot. We have some teething issues to still work through regarding densepack platelets and desmopressin administered for the surgery as well as pain medications post surgery as I am myeloproliferative and have AML/Runx1-FPD. And will require specific medications and no NSAIDS. So I have requested and hope I am approved for these medications and am awaiting this discussion with his #1 for this surgery which is why a 10 was not give.
Dr. Senall performed surgery on my right foot 3 yrs. ago, and I was very happy with the results. My appointment today was to address similar issues on my left foot, and I'm very confident in his judgement and knowledge as well as his patient interaction.
Dr. Senall, is a real gem in my book. I have been to a whole lot of doctors since being struck by a train over 20 years ago, after meeting the Dr. today I. Must say he rcplss AS once things to me snd understood where I was coming from we decided together what's the best Approach before surgery, He truly cares what he does and sincerely is driven by the thankfulness of his patients. I am one of them. Thank You. Dr. Senall.
I took time to research Northwestern and watched s video with Jeffrey A. Senall, MD. It was just as he says, he works the problem out with patient and decides the best approach. It was refreshing to see so many professionals from the front desk the nurses all involved courteous helpful and understanding
Staff at the center are very nice and professional. The only complaint I have is that I was supposed to schedule an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot in my calf. I called the Western Suburbs number that was on my paperwork and the girl I talked to told me that someone would call me with available dates and times. That was 4 days ago. Hopefully it's not a blood clot.
He was just so wonderful. When I was admitted he cleared his schedule quickly to perform my procedure. He came to see me everyday and really took the time to listen to the issues I was having not only with my broken foot but also the issues I was having with other health issues complicating the healing process of my foot. Very compassionate and willing to reassure me, and the surgery itself went off without a hitch. The break I have is notorious for problems and I have not had a single complication. I just can't think of a negative thing to say about him or his staff and assistants.
Everything is so quick and efficient. I never spent more than 20 minutes waiting for a test or to be admitted from the ER to a room. It was all done quickly. the staff was absolutely wonderful and really made me feel like they cared about me as a person and not just a case number. My surgery was done quickly and was done well, and I've had no complications.
There was no wheelchair with a leg rest for my daughter who had major surgery on her leg! At an orthopedic doctor's office! Unacceptable But the nurses and staff were very caring and Helpful despite not having the proper equipment.
Dr. Senall and the entire staff @NM Orthapedics were fantastic. Besides our son's toe injury, - our family has used the services of Dr. Senall for foot and ankle issues and Dr. Tom Kiesler for hand, wrist and elbow injuries - and we couldn't be be more pleased with the results. Equally as important, we could not be more pleased with the compassion, friendliness and professionalism of each of these doctors and their staffs, - and that is why we highly recommend their services and will remain remain loyal patients of theirs for all of our family's future orthopedic needs!
Dr Senall is kind, listens to concerns, and addresses them appropriately. My son and husband have also been treated by Dr Senall and we trust his expertise and skills as a surgeon. We are grateful to be under his care.
I thought he explained everything very clearly. I was able to get into surgery within three days of visiting him with my injury. The surgery went well and all was handleed in a very professional manner.
Listened to the problems I have with function and pain. Appeared to respect the level of function I want to preserve and regain without pain. Discussed a surgical approach that may optimize successful participation in activities important to me, after recovery.
