5.0 star star star star starDr. Sisson is a fantastic orthopedic physician. He's extraordinarily professional, diligent, and compassionate. During each visit that I've had with him has been great. His disposition exhibits the pinnacle of a doctor/patient relationship. I highly recommend Dr. Sisson.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderWhile he provided some additional information about my fractured foot, I was really hoping that he would be able to provide some more definitive answers, but I felt like I came out of it without any more clarity than I had prior to my visit, just with an increased worry about whether or not my foot will heal correctly without surgical intervention.

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderThe doctor himself who saw me was absolutely horrible to me. He seemed very prejudiced and almost angered at the fact that I said I was a dancer, then he told me the problem was in my foot, when it’s my shin that hurts. I became so frustrated that I cried, to which he became even more passive towards me. Will never go back.

5.0 star star star star starDr Sisson is a great surgeon. He did an amazing job on my surgery. He took the time to talk with me before and after the surgery. When I went in for my follow up appointment with him he was very patient with me, helping me get back on my feet and walking again.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderHour late for my appt. He was dismissive. He didn’t even take time to proactively tell me what to expect in terms of treatment. Worst provider I’ve ever seen at Northwestern where I’ve always been pleased with service. Really surprised.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderDr. Sisson must be extremely knowledgeable, Because people keep recommending him. But I don’t think we get along. We got off on the wrong foot on the first visit, and since then, it’s never gone well. I don’t think he has confidence in me. I don’t think he knows how hard I want to work. I don’t feel comfortable asking him questions. Our personalities just don’t work together and I need to be comfortable with asking the surgeon questions. This would be a big deal and he gave me a 50-50 shot that it would work. It didn’t seem like he wanted to do it. I regret coming back because I feel like I wasted his time. But people keep referring me back. I’m grateful for his time and expertise, I just don’t think he’s the right guy. I should at least feel comfortable asking questions about a major surgery. He should feel comfortable as well. And I don’t think he did. Like I said, he might be a good recommendation for other people. He certainly came highly recommended … But if I don’t feel comfortable asking questions… And he doesn’t want to do it … Probably not the right guy, and I’m probably not the right patient for him.

5.0 star star star star starI understand he had a stressful day and was running behind and trying to get through each person. But I felt really brushed off and unheard. I only made this appointment on the recommendation from the doc's office, so it was really annoying. Luckily this seems to be a one time occurrence and his nurses/team members helped me out and communicated with me.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDr. Sisson was kind, however, I had more faith in his resident than he as the attending physician. I felt as though he was fitting me in to a specific and far-stretched diagnosis, even though my answers to his symptom related questions were all "no." He was puzzled, mentioned my case is not typical, and maybe it was a tumor. The only helpful information I received from this visit were the x-rays and the help from the resident as far as the next steps I should take.

5.0 star star star star starHe is genuinely a kind & caring person. He gave me options before recommending surgery which I greatly appreciated. I was a nervous wreck prior surgery and Dr Sisson & his team were very empathic. All around great care!

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderIt felt like i had inconvenienced him. Very upsetting seeing my xrays and he badgered me to look at them as i was doubled over crying œWell we know you have a high pain tolerance!? He said Left me in the room alone for 15 minutes i never new he was done with the exam Awful when he has such a sharp, empathetic team supporting his œcare?
