5.0 star star star star starWe is dedicated to his patients . Something that seldomly happens nowadays. I do have a hard time seeing doctors wearing expensive watches as it tells me what they are about. I do appreciate his humble demeanor.

5.0 star star star star starThere is not enough room :) but to streamline why i gave a high rating...He is a wonderful doctor, very attentive and caring as he listened to me describe my symptoms and provided feedback/asked additional questions.

5.0 star star star star starI have been a patient of Dr. Wilsnack for many years. In the years that I worked in food service, he saw me at select times and he treated me magnificently, so I could do my job and actually thrive from working. When I had my appt. with Dr. Joel last week, he had already gone through some of my MyChart notes from some of the specialists that I had seen. I had some soreness from when I fell recently, and he could determine that I didn't fracture my hip. He asked me about my urology medicines. I still drink some liquids at night, so I get in trouble with getting up overnight. He knows I see my dermatologist annually and that I take a medicine for cholesterol. He was approving of the weight I was because I have to have some girth for my "getting around for doctor's appts. and my musical endeavors." We usually share something personal about our lives and that makes me feel that "I know this doctor and the doctor knows me."

5.0 star star star star starPer my previous answer about why I'm likely to recommend NH Primary Care for care, it's all about the quality doctor that Dr. Wilsnack is (which I'll repaste here in a moment). Further, in the time that I have been his patient, he has quickly understood and diagnosed issues I was having and helped catch things before they became bigger problems and help treat and manage them. He is an excellent, skilled doctor but just as importantly, he is an empath, too. Here is what I said earlier: My reasons are all related to my experience with Dr. Joel Wilsnack. More doctors need to be like him. He has excellent listening skills, is very humanistic, thorough, empathetic and always, always so responsive. He has excellent EQ and IQ. At a time when healthcare and medicine seems so incredibly cold and too about "business", Dr. Wilsnack remains very focused on truly caring about his patients and helping to heal the whole body. He's amazing.

5.0 star star star star starThoughtful. Responsive. Never rushed. Answers every question thoroughly. Always providing knowledgeable guidance that I have learned to count on over the years. I definitely believe he has my best health as his priority -- from annual checkups and screenings to trusted referrals when something goes awry. I cannot recommend Dr. Wilsnack any higher - he's the best GP I've had.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
