5.0 star star star star starDr. Hoyt is the best gynecologist I've ever seen. I had a horrible experience with my last one at a different hospital and was hesitant to see another. Dr. Hoyt made me feel comfortable, safe, and in control during every step of my care. As someone with a history of sexual trauma, Dr. Hoyt really focused on me and didn't make me feel rushed and helped me really understand all of my options towards my care.

5.0 star star star star starI am a 74 year old woman, decades past menopause, but with problems from fibroids going back 15 years. Dr. Hoyt did not discount my concern about renewed problems I had, which I believed to be caused by fibroids, as some doctors might at my age. She immediately ordered verifying tests and explained several options to address the issue. I chose total hysterectomy. Dr. Hoyt is a highly skilled surgeon, and I had a pain free post-op experience.

5.0 star star star star starLove Dr. Hoyt! She was running on time and listened to all my questions and concerns. She must take really good notes because she seemed to remember me from my previous visit, which was surprising and very appreciated!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
