She was so professional & knowledgeable. She took her time explaining & asking what questions I have. It was very refreshing that she truly cared of my well being. I can not say enough good things about her. She is very reassuring & positive in all regards. What an attribute she is for Northwestern Hospital.

There was a mix up when the appt was booked and Dr Selvan adjusted her schedule. Being a first time patient Dr Selvan easily spent 45 minutes asking me questions and examining me. No hurry very thorough and patient.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Selvan and I was very apprehensive in hearing about my x-ray results. I appreciated the fact that she got to the point as she explained to me what Interstitial Lung Disease was and whether or not my x-ray showed it. Dr. Selvan spent a considerable amount of time asking questions and answering the myriad of questions that I had. Besides being knowledgeable and articulate, she is an excellent listener. She made me feel at ease and alleviated any fears that I had. I felt that I could trust her in the first 5 minutes of our interaction. She made helpful recommendations moving forward. Overall, I had a positive experience due to Dr. Selvan showing compassion, and being clear in providing reassuring explanations. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Kavitha Selvan!
