I was very impressed with how detailed and organized Dr. Kadakia and his staff was before and after the surgery. Before my surgery, I had several questions that I submitted on the portal and his staff was very responsive in answering my questions. In addition, my prescriptions for after my surgery were sent to my pharmacy 10 days before my surgery, which allowed me to not have to worry about it after the surgery. Further, every possible detail about the surgery and post surgery (where to go, where to park, what not to eat, what to wear, what to bring, what to expect, etc.) was all given to me several days in advance of my surgery. Also, the scheduling of my surgery and all of my pre and post appointments were easy as multiple days/times were available to fit my schedule.

I've had 3 surgeries on my foot with 2 other surgeons, and none of them compares to Dr Kadakia. He's very upbeat, professional and never rushes through an appointment. He explains everything in terms you can understand and leaves plenty of time for questions. After all I've been through it was a blessing to have a Dr who inspires confidence and positivity given with a dose of reality. I can't say enough kind things about this Dr. He's never let me down, and the bottom line is, he did what he promised he could do for my foot after so much previous trauma. I never thought it could be this much better.

Promises kept. I was so impressed with Dr Kadakia from the first encounter. He is friendly, open and optimistic. He told me he could make things better, explaining step by step what to expect, and what the limitations were, including the potential risks. His confidence was reassuring without being pompous or arrogant. This man proved he could back up what he promised. I've suffered with pain and lack of mobility for the last 7 years after 2 botched surgeries on my big toe, 2 different surgeons, and now it's hard not to get emotional when I look at my 'new' foot, knowing my life will be more normal again. I'm forever indebted to Dr Kadakia, and his entire team.

His practices are state of the art, but he always points out options that are best for me with clear explanations. I have more complex needs, and instead of him suggesting procedures that could be more career/self promoting for him, he recommends what is best for me. He also has a great sense of humor!

I think he's a great orthopedic foot surgeon. Dr Kadakia did 2 surgeries on my feet in the last 2 years, which have both gone well. I think the biggest downside of this most recent surgery was my experience with the physicians assistants. They were well meaning, but there were problems which were difficult to address, since I could not drive myself to those appointments. I think my biggest criticism would be that when the recovery ran into some hitches, I wish Dr Kadakia had gotten involved that juncture, rather than my having to continue to rely on the PA's. That said, one of the most striking things was when I needed a foot surgeon, unexpectedly, in 2013 when I was about to have a total R knee replacement performed by a different orthopedic surgeon (which I did ultimately end up having). I had already received the pre-op meds for that total knee, & a physicians assistant for the knee surgeon, discovered a tiny area of erythema on the right nail bed. This posed a grave risk of infection, if the total knee replacement surgery had proceeded. It was at that point I was referred to Dr Kadakia who took care of me, made sure the infection in my foot was treated so that I could eventually proceed with the total knee replacement. I never forgot the care I received from Dr Kadakia then, and that is the basis upon which I have continued to prefer him for any foot surgery I have needed. I trust him, I think he's an excellent surgeon, and a caring & special human being.

This doctor was very helpful told me what wouldn't and wouldn't help with my arthritis and relieved my fear that I needed foot surgery. I found him very professional and his recommendations were ones that I could get onboard with and are easy to follow and don't involve strong drugs.
