5.0 star star star star starThis was my third visit with Dr. Jaros. He is knowledgable, has, so far, successfully guided me through a difficult diagnosis and treatment plan using what appear to be best practices. He also is engaging, easy to talk to and quite willing to answer all my questions. And, rather than being evasive, if he doesn't know (that is, there is no clear answer from a medical standpoint) lets me know that as well. Given my complex autoimmune condition, I feel grateful that I was blessed to connect with Dr.Jaros and Northwestern.

5.0 star star star star starDr Jaros is a caring and dedicated doctor. He listens intently. He makes you feel comfortable. And he always finds a way to resolve the issues you've had. I also appreciate that you never have to wait and you are in the room at the exact scheduled time.

5.0 star star star star starPlease refer to my comments above that were very positive regarding Dr. Jaros. When asked above if I would recommend Northwestern Rheumatology, it should understood that, currently, for me, Dr. Jaros is Northwestern Rheumatology. My first visit with him was excellent. I believe the intervening tests, medication adjustments and protocols ( before my follow-up visit in mid-December) make sense. Additionally, so far, there has been good communication with him and with the RNs that work with him through MY Chart.

5.0 star star star star starit was our first meeting but it felt like he had been my doctor for sometime. Easy to talk to. Listened to my concerns. Also, since I have a rare chronic disease he spoke with the CTEPH team at Northwestern and understood the concerns the team had.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Jaros is a kind/caring doctor. He listens and he digs deeply to find the root cause of the symptoms I am having. Even with the travel to Chicago, I'm so glad I was able to find Dr. Jaros and the NW Rheumatology Department.
Disclosures
Brian D. Jaros, MD reported no external professional relationships for calendar year 2024.
External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
