5.0 star star star star starDr. Lapins is probably the most thorough and knowledgeable physician I worked with both as a patient and as a retired hospital attorney. She has excellent bedside manner, clear communication skills and a very positive attitude about Alzheimer's diagnosis.

5.0 star star star star starShe is an extremely well qualified physician and a very caring person who has provided me with excellent treatment and guidance starting prior to my definitive Alzheimer's diagnosis and continuing as my illness has been progressing over several years.

5.0 star star star star starShe is great. She is very highly knowledgeable, but is kind, compassionate and explains things at the level the patient can understand. She is totally inclusive in having the patient make the most informed decisions without any pressure on her part. We are extremely grateful to have found her as a helpful doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDr lapins not only listens, but she hears you. I feel she's a person who can be trusted personally and professionally. She answers all your questions honestly. And takes her time to know exactly what it is you're feeling. If you're having neurological issues or memory problems I would definitely, recommend that you see her.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
