5.0 star star star star starMy appointment was not rushed, both Stacy and Dr. Pandya were very thorough in gathering my history, noting my symptoms, and concerns. My CT scans were presented and explained in detail, as was the next step to relieve my symptoms, which is an angiogram. This procedure was explained in detail as were any possibility of risks and I was put very much at ease by both their knowledge and their manner. I feel very confident I have a good understanding of my upcoming treatment and also very confident in the care I have and will be receiving.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Pandya is kind and warm while being very knowledgeable. I never felt dismissed or patronized. He made me feel like each question I had about my condition was valuable. And he made me feel confident about the treatment approach. I also appreciate that he did not offer certainties about my prognosis in the areas that are still to be determined. I personally would rather know likely outcomes, as well as possible outcomes and I felt well informed by the doctor in this manner. The experience also felt collaborative allowing me to participate. I very much appreciate a doctor who practices this way. Thank you.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
