5.0 star star star star starBoth the nurse and Dr Cruz who saw me were amazing! So much better than the care I received at the Westloop NW Immediate care location. Listened to me and actually gave me the right meds this time. And then gave me a follow up call to check on blood pressure as a bit high with the cold medicine I was taking. Very personalized care!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Arnold Cruz was caring, professional and very knowledgeable. He was thorough and ordered several tests rather than running through the mill that my husband had gone through only several weeks earlier.

5.0 star star star star starOther PA and nurse practioners and some physicians are average and did not make much difference in my previous several visits last one month. But Dr. Cruz was different. He was excellent in every way. Very thorough in caring me and answered to my questions which helped me toward improving my health. His orders and prescription for medication gave me complete confidence in him and I finally felt that this visit to immediate care is worth to my visit and reduced my fear and anxiety about my health. For him, I praise God and thanks. In a word, he is a man of truth. As a doctor, he is trustworthy and sincere, humble, caring doctor with knowledge and experience.

5.0 star star star star starHe took the time to talk with me, explain the issue I had, what I could do to get through this, was very knowledgeable & very pleasant. I didn't feel rushed or as if my reason for being there was not necessary.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cruz was so unbelievable professional and efficient. I had an xray and nasal swab to test for Covid, Influenza A, Infuenza B, and RSV. He did a thorough exam on my chest and a nebulizer. He then said I could go home and will follow up. He called several times during the day with results of the Xray and then later in the day to tell me that I tested positive for Influenza A. The fact I did not have to stay and wait for endless hours was so nice.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cruz took the time to choose a medication that is likely to resolve my symptoms and is safe for me to take. I really appreciate it. The instructions and recommendations were very clear. I think Dr. Cruz shows true concern for his patients.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
