5.0 star star star star starDr. Wright did a great job on my BPH. Five days after the operation the catheter was removed I was good to go (literally!). It's been over 3 months and I could not have hoped for a better end result.

5.0 star star star star starDr Wright was great. He was professional and willing to work with me. Originally the procedure was schedule for full operating room and after conversation, he was willing to perform the procedure in the office at a substantial cost savings and much much easier process.

5.0 star star star star starLike I indicated above, he was very accomodating and friendly. He told me the results of the tests he took today and also what can be done about them. He gave me a handout with everything that we spoke about today.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Wright was straightforward with how the procedure would work as well as with his care instructions. I was given ample medications (once out of the hospital) to manage my post-op symptoms and he was preemptive in catching bacteria in my system and sending an antibiotic before it grew and made me more uncomfortable.

5.0 star star star star starI thought he was very knowledgeable and well versed in the procedure I was hoping he would recommend. Apparently he's very popular as it's difficult to get the process started in a timely manner.

5.0 star star star star starDr Wright was professional and skilled in conducting the procedure. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not experience discomfort of any kind, which was a relief. He was very clear in explaining his findings to me and my family. He was very patient in answering our question.

5.0 star star star star starDr Wright reviewed the records we brought with us prior to the visit so he would be well-informed. He was direct in his approach to stay focused on the important details of the appointment. He carefully explained what our next steps would be. He was a good listener.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
