5.0 star star star star starEverything that Melissa told me, is coming to pass. The more I wear my hearing aids, the better I can hear with them. She told me that it would take 2 or 3 weeks to get used to them, and she was right.

5.0 star star star star starMelissa is very professional and explained what she was going to do in advance. I was extremely concerned about my hearing and she helped calm me by her explanations. She showed me the results and advised this was a baseline and that I should return in a year to see how things were going.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mandra was very patient as m wife and I described our frustrations regarding my existing 7-year-old hearing aids (from a different audiologist). Suggested that I try a loaner for several days of a newer model from different manufacturer. Subjectively we both believed that there was significant improvement, which was confirmed by testing my hearing with both sets, There was a 15-20% gain over the frequency range of my wife's speaking voice, the latter being our primary concern.. After a full week, I remain satisfied that the newer aids were well worth the purchase.

5.0 star star star star starMelissa was very pleasant. She explained everything that she was doing and why, and then went over results with me. She made sure that I understood what we were doing and why which is very helpful.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
