5.0 star star star star starDr. Swanson has been a God sent to my family during a difficult time. She has connected us with ongoing resources and has brought my family closer. Can’t say enough about how wonderful she is and truly excellent at her profession

5.0 star star star star starIHaving never met a therapist/mental health professional Dr. Swanson was my first experience at the absolute worst time. She was so compassionate but also realistic/clear in helping me start to find a footing and then work on my immediate issues, but also then helping me get stronger even as fertility issues, etc. were difficult. Also, I can't express how much I appreciate her kindness to me as a man. I have never felt comfortable or reached out for help because of stereotypes and not having somewhere to feel welcome. I was told by someone at reception that therapists were only for women and it nearly stopped me from seeking the help I needed. Dr. Swanson was there and has been there for me since that day 2 years ago. I can't even begin to explain my appreciation for her care.

5.0 star star star star starAmelia was great, she was a great resource to talk through some of our challenged with northwestern and gave us good advice to improve our experience. She also touched on important things to help us feel in control and minimize stress as much as possible during this process.

5.0 star star star star starThrough my whole fertility process she by far has been my best experience. She took the time to explain everything to my partner and I kept giving us positive vibes. We just feel comfortable and she understood our financial burden and offered us options such as grants to help us through this process.

5.0 star star star star starShe is so incredibly compassionate, genuine, and really wants to know her patient fullyâ€not just about their problems with fertility. It is very refreshing, and she has incredible intuition and can relate to patients on so many meaningful levels.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
