5.0 star star star star starHe is calm, doesn't seem rushed, is easy to talk to. Answered all my questions ever so patiently and, even with our masks, I could see the kindness and understanding in his eyes. All of this has to be put in the context that patients are there because of a diagnosis you would genuinely not want to have.

5.0 star star star star starHe communicated with me very well and effectively. He has compassion, I say this because the times I would have a conversation about my results he was able to understand I had gone through emotionally. He has great bedside manner. He also explains the diagnosis thoroughly.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Tomic has overseen the follow up of my experience having Cryptogenic Occupational Therapy in January 2018, at point when the doctor I had left practicing at Northwestern. I have felt I have had very good care from him and those working under him. I appreciated that he always heard my concerns, and helped me understand reasons for next steps, etc. On occasion he did followup calls to my home.

5.0 star star star star starI find him to be a kind and caring practitioner, unlike the person i was initially assigned to who is no longer with practice. Also, found the young doctor who assisted today, Dr. Joudi, to be delightful. Also, didn't get her name but the nurse that set me up was charming.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
