5.0 star star star star starDr Cherayil is an incredible doctor who I'm lucky to get to be treated by and who I'd recommend to others. I was unable to do my last appointment because my insurance changed and she was no longer in network. I literally selected my new medical insurance based on whether or not she was in network. That is how important getting to be treated by her is to me. She's knowledgeable, kind, and highly intelligent.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cherayil originally saw me when I went in for a neurology appointment with a resident. She was able to step in and assist the resident and recommend me to see herself. I was able to see Dr. Cherayil within a month of that original neurology appointment, and she took lots of time to explain what exactly is going on and what to expect moving forward. Her bedside manners, compassion, and ability to explain difficult concepts is out of this world exceptional.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cherayil is very competent, and thinks outside of the box. She recommended an increase in my medication, which would definitely help me, but insurance won't cover this very expensive drug increase. I really wish they would. She is also a nice person!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Cherayil stands out as an exceptional physician who has provided the best medical care I've ever received. She takes remarkable time with each visit to truly listen and understand my concerns, never making me feel rushed. Her deep medical knowledge and competence are evident in how she thoroughly explains conditions and treatment options, while her problem-solving approach has consistently led to effective solutions for my health issues. What sets her apart is how she combines this clinical excellence with genuine care and attention to her patients. She has been especially thorough in following up and ensuring treatment plans are working. I cannot recommend Dr. Cherayil highly enough - she is, without question, the finest doctor I have ever seen.

5.0 star star star star starVery extensive visit/exam and was able to explain everything with great detail. The Dr was also kind and open to discussing any questions and concerns. Breath of fresh air to know there are still Dr's who show genuine interest in patients rather then just rushing them out the door. Thank you Dr. Cherayil

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
