5.0 star star star star starI am thrilled to share my experience with Dr. Amina F. Basha, who has been nothing short of exceptional as my endocrinologist. Dr. Basha is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to ensuring the best possible care for her patients. She takes the time to listen to all of my concerns, patiently explaining my condition and treatment options in a way that is clear and understandable. Her approach is thorough, and I have always felt that she goes above and beyond to provide personalized care. Dr. Basha's ability to combine expertise with empathy is truly remarkable _ I never feel rushed or overlooked during visits. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Amina F. Basha to anyone seeking an endocrinologist. She is a wonderful doctor who genuinely cares about her patients' well-being!

5.0 star star star star starDr Basha listed to my concerns and asked good questions. I have been diabetic for more than twenty five years and recently started to have concerns with higher glucose levels. Dr Basha made helpful recommendations in my everyday life from exercise to diet and implemented a change in treatment that I anticipate will result in a healthier me. She exudes confidence. Glad I am under her care.

5.0 star star star star starShe listened and took time to understand my condition and family history. Appeared to have read notes from my previous endocrinologist prior to my appointment. She's knowledgeable and personable.

5.0 star star star star starShe's great, listens - really listens. Then actually explains what she thinks is going on and answers questions that should have been explained to me years ago. Bright and kind - total win finding her!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Asked very focused and relevant questions, listened to my concerns and medical history, communicated test results clearly, and developed a plan to pause medication and repeat bone density tests, and requested additional lab tests. She is an educator and a problem solver, so I feel I am in good hands.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
