4.0 star star star star star_borderDue to the failure of my surgery, I cannot of course, give Dr. Brown a 10. However, she stated that there was only an 85% of success, was professional, knowledgable, and accommodating. I am grateful for her.

5.0 star star star star starI'm so impressed by Dr Brown. She really was able to reference strong studies. Made me feel at ease. We ended up exploring multiple options, going with two that work together. I'm so pleased to have gotten to meet her.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Brown had met with me about options for dealing with unitary incontinence and I tried a few. PTNS I used for a few yers with her very helpful and capable staff. When surgery became the final option she was clear about it. (My internist, Dr. [full name], said she had patients who had had the surgery and that made me feel positive.) I asked Dr Brown when she visited just before the surgery about where the pain was. She as kind and clear as before.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
