5.0 star star star star starAs above - I felt he didn't rush through the examination, explained my physical problem thoroughly, and treated me kindly. My knee feels much better due to his treatment. I will recommend him to other people.

5.0 star star star star starspent time talking extensively with me and two family members so that we had a more complete understanding of knee replacement from pre-surgery prep, through actual procedure and then after care. He answered every question thoroughly and completely.

5.0 star star star star starFirst became acquainted when I was sent a notification from OAK Orthopedics about a new doctor. My boyfriend had been experiencing a lack of response from the doctors he'd been seeing and I suggested Dr. Shah. We were blown away by his knowledge of not only how to implant the hip, but as an engineer - he understood the function and design of the artificial hip. We were so impressed -- long story short ... after 3 replacements (both my bf and one of mine), I was informed he would be leaving OAK. Now, a year later, I need my other hip replaced and I hunted him down. He is THAT good. I was up and walking in no time. He fully explained the process and how recovery would go. I trust him COMPLETELY.

5.0 star star star star starOn schedule, no waiting and Dr. Shah and his associates were outstanding. Identified my medical problem with a set of x-rays and was able to not only correct the problem before I left the office, they referred to rehab. Much appreciated after several days of hip joint pain. Thank you!
Disclosures

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
