It was a stressful Mohs procedure the day before that had gotten too large. Dr Shastri was called to see if he could fix it. He was wonderful and kind and got me in LF hospital the very next day for his surgery. Again..all the people that helped me from the nurses, [ ] the anesthesiologist and Dr Shastri were top grade. Proud they are in the field of medicine.

Dr Shastri is a very caring and competent physician. He even returned my call at midnight when I had a concern about the stitches the night of my surgery. He kept in touch with my husband throughout the operation so he wouldnt worry. I appreciate and trust all the Doctors at Northwestern and Dr. Shastri especially.

Dr. Shastri was focused, yet calm. He answered my questions and explained what he could about different scenarios based on the Mohs procedure, given that there are still unknowns. Based on further questions I had, he took photos and is following up with Drs. [ ] and [ ] on my behalf. I don’t yet know his skill set as a plastic surgeon, but I appreciate the consult.

He did an excellent job with a minor procedure on my ear with some great added value. Then provided a valuable suggestion for some additional work on my face. Literally he took 15 years off my face I am a new woman. I love that he is so fancy too. Makes me feel special. We are only at the beginning of our work together.
