5.0 star star star star starProfessionally competent and "knows his stuff"; but not a trace of the arrogance that many physicians exhibit. Lenkart looks deep into your data, asks your own view of the situations, corrects (respectfully and politely) patients' misunderstandings and erroneous thinking. He is ever an approachable doctor who dispenses his knowledge generously and succinctly. He's probably my favorite doctor of a lifetime of 75 years, thus far. I also appreciate that he shares my pov that pharmaceuticals are not the be all and end all solutions to each medical 'problem.' If he can get your body back to "normal" and with a minimum of chemical interference in your endocrine system and metabolism, then he will try to do that, gradually but carefully reducing patients' dosage of whatever until the body is functioning closer to what it should be. Entirely my own desire and point of view for treatment.

5.0 star star star star starI mentioned a couple of factors above. Good luck with getting into his wide and deep list of patients, though. Because of his unusual competence and realistic view of what one may expect from patients, many have signed up with him, and he is likely not able to take on more patients.

5.0 star star star star starVery attentive to my needs and concerns. Only reason why I didn't give a 10 was due to he hadn't called my prescription to the pharmacy and I needed to call back to have my prescription sent over.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
