5.0 star star star star starHe was extremely busy but still gave his time and attention to me. He explained everything, involved me in my care and apologized for the long wait and explained why it was so long. This shouldn't be part of his job.

5.0 star star star star starHe seems genuinely concerned, he is candid, he offered advice that was both medically sound and practical & in the very brief time allowed for appointments he advised me in a way that factored in both my mental health and physical health as it related to the physical issue I was experiencing

5.0 star star star star starAs I said before, the doctor and nurse were very professional in regards to me walking in and getting myself checked out to make sure my health business was in order after being under the weather the last couple of days.

5.0 star star star star starI was a mystery to him and so I never got to the root of my pain but he did offer a possible solution. He told me the few things he thought it could be but no follow through for ruling things out to find the cause.

5.0 star star star star starDoc was as on-point as one could hope for. Was appropriately comprehensive around questions, during physical exam, and with specific tests ordered. Did an effective problem assessment and concluded what the issue was reasonably and logically. Was clear and easy to talk to. I left with a full understanding around my health condition, possible outcomes of labs, what to expect, and game plan around what to do next based on the outcomes once reported. Well done on every measure, Doc.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Andrew Selvarajah is such a good doctor. He helped ease my worry. Was thorough in his examination. Answered all of my questions and walked me through the scope of my work up which reassured me that I was being listened to, cared for, and treated fairly. More doctors like him please. So amazed by his knowledge and that he cared enough to walk me through. As a black woman, we often are overlooked or discounted, and to be listened to and thoroughly taken care was a wonderful experience. Give this man a raise please and get more doctors like him.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
