5.0 star star star star starI had been putting off seeing a urologist for years, but I finally made an appointment with Dr. Schlessinger_and I'm so glad I did. She listened to my concerns and developed a treatment plan, reassuring me that if her solution didn't improve my condition, I shouldn't hesitate to reach out. She is knowledgeable, well-versed in new therapies and treatments, and has a warm bedside manner that helped ease my anxiety. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional urologist.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Schlessinger exceeded our expectations and spent the time other doctors would not have, due to [name]'s stroke affecting her speech. Her extensive knowledge and recommendations show there is hope for a good recovery and short cuts by the "skilled nursing center" for their convenience would have doomed [name]'s chances for recovery

5.0 star star star star starShe is so easy to relate to when you go for your first visit. Like most men, I put urological visits in rank order right after a root canal. She immediately engages and puts you at ease and the exam is less stressful than going to Woodstock's DMV for a license renewal.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
