5.0 star star star star starFirst time meeting her so I don't have a depth of perspective but it was a good first appt. She was personable, caring and helpful, taking the time to pull up and review some info rather than just referring me to find it on my own, which is more typical in busy suburban care.

5.0 star star star star starI switched PCPs, and was a little apprehensive at first having to go through me entire health history in fear that Dr. Matz would make assumptions about the condition I was coming in to be seen for. I was very wrong in my assumption, and I feel like we collaborated together on next steps. She offered me support when needed, and I never felt judged.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Matz was very professional and thorough. She made me feel comfortable and really listened. She spent a lot of time with me and made sure we addressed all my concerns. She made many referrals to other providers to get me treatment for specific issues. I was so happy to have found Dr. Matz and told her so at the end of the appointment.

5.0 star star star star starShe went really in depth on my health and touched on topics/things I've never even considered after visiting other drs. Like stoppping vaping and providing alternatives to help with it , providing EPI pen etc.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Matz was very thorough in her preoperative exam. She asked many questions, leaving me confident that everything was covered. In addition, she took the time to go over previous medical information that was never explained or told to me. I really appreciated it. I would have no problem recommending others to her practice/care. Just plain awesome!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
