5.0 star star star star starShe has a warm bedside manner. This relaxes nephrology patients who tend to present with serious issues. She is knowledgeable and willingly shares that knowledge in a way that helps patients understand their condition and treatment options. Her exam is unhurried. She inspires confidence. And she is backed up by the Northwestern team.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Veronica Zamora looks very young, but I never judge a book by it's cover. Her professional yet warm and caring attitude during the consultation was second to none. She took the time to explain in detail all my questions and concerns while also explaining how the body's kidney filtration works and what they look for to determine any signs of disease. She is a wonderful Doctor.

5.0 star star star star starShe's been great at answering all my questions and has been thorough in every visit. Not only that, but she has been understanding of the circumstances that have made compliance challenging and encouraging in her efforts to keep me on track. She also perceptive of my needs as and proactively suggested doing virtual visits where possible to save me the 1.5 hour drive. Thank you!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
