5.0 star star star star starDr. Tomasino has made such a difference in my life and managing my Crohn's disease among other areas that has caused me stress. She listens to me and my concerns and shows me ways to reduce stress and manage pain. She gives 100% and sends additional resources to aide in healing and to help become whole with body and mind. This is so important with keeping Crohn's flares under control. She always goes that extra step and cares greatly for her patients. She provides a support group for people with IBD which helps me feel understood and not so alone. I don't know what I would have done when I recently underwent surgery without Dr Tomasino and her knowledge and therapy. She has an amazingly soothing voice that can help with pain better than opioids. I am so blessed to have her as a part of my care team and I am so appreciative of all she has done for me! Thank you Dr. Tomasino!!

5.0 star star star star starDr Tomasino offers the psychological factor to chronic illness. She teaches pain management and weight management without drugs. She teaches these psychological approaches that work and always follows up with me. She has a way of making a person feel safe and comfortable. She gives 100% and will find additional resources to supplement and support managing the disease and weight management. She responds quickly to questions between appointments. I have a long history with IBD and have never experienced this type of treatment, but relieving stress and pain helps with healing and overcoming flare ups. One of the best things about Dr Tomasino is her caring attitude and her focus on what her patient needs from each session. She has been there thru my worst of times with my illness and has helped me to keep moving forward. When times are hard she checks in more than usual. I cannot thank her enough for being the strength and hope when I needed it.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
