5.0 star star star star starDr. Brooker really listens and took her time with me. We had to get to the root of what was causing the problem and I was very appreciative to nit be rushed in and out and to be able to get to root of the problem. She was also pleasant to speak to. Some neurologist are known for being the opposite. So again, was grateful to have someone like her as my neurological doctor.

5.0 star star star star starShe was excellent! She was extremely thorough and asked great questions. She took her time with me. She called personally later the same day to relay blood results and her thoughts. She was the 6th doctor I have been to regarding this issue and her exam was the most diligent and comprehensive. I finally have some answers to my medical mystery that other doctors haven't been able to figure out.

5.0 star star star star starNeurology is a rough area to find help. But, I would recommend Dr. Brooker based off compassion alone. They don't teach you that in school. I just know that comes from her passion in what she does.

5.0 star star star star starDr Brooker is a polite, kind and generous physician. She spends quite a lot of time listening to the patient, which as a physician myself, I find this of paramount importance. I had an excellent discussion, exchanging opinions based on facts and scientific information. She is very well informed. I highly recommend this superb movement disorder expert. [Patient's Name]

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
