5.0 star star star star starVery, very knowledgeable. Explains all aspects thoroughly. Efficient while listening. Answers questions openly. Appears to adapt his style to his patient's needs/personality (as rare as a three-legged ballerina). Kind. Human. Actually smiles. He should be proud - show this to his family and friends.

5.0 star star star star starMy follow up visit with Dr. Tom Nealis was wonderful He took time to explain what happened in the procedure and what the follow up would be. He is a very thorough doctor. He listened to my questions and respected me as a person. He was not in a hurry during the visit, and even reminded me to call him/or patient portal, if I had any concerns. I felt supported by him.

5.0 star star star star starA primary concern of patients is that their physician does not pay adequate attention or time evaluating their reasons for seeking medical care. This was not the case with Dr. Nealis, who was very engaged.

5.0 star star star star starFor similar reasons as noted above, I found Dr Nealis' approach very effective. He was kind, attentive to my thoughts, and concerns. He had done som preview of my charts so used our time together efficiently. He seemed like he truly cared about my thoughts and concerns with active listening skills. Even recommending a blood test for a symptom I've had years ago that is now recurring. Dr. took the time to write notes and explain them to me with the why behind them that helped me process what I needed to do in my brain and memory bank, Dr. also gave me options for pre and post care for an exam which I appreciate. I was happy that he was assigned as my GI specialist.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Nealis was very thorough in explaining things to me. My son, who is an MD read his report and was impressed by its thoroughness. I didn't feel anything during the procedure and recovered more easily than my last 2 colonoscopies.

5.0 star star star star starDr Nealis takes time to explain procedures and answer questions. He explained that my that my diagnosis was hereditary and that my children needed to also see a gastroenterologist. He was right. In addition after procedures he personally calls to follow up on how I'm feeling. He's the best!!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Nealis and his team were great! I have PTSD and have a lot of stress and fear about being under anesthesia. My nervous system is wired for stress and Dr.Nealis and his entire team were available for questions leading up to the procedure. On the day of the procedure, I had all the support I needed from the team to get through my procedure. I had several pre-cancerous polyps removed. It always surprise me that I have no pain after having things removed.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Nealis was patient with me and very informative from onset of my initial contact with him . I had experienced significant discomfort during my initial colonoscopy and the physician recommended general anesthesia for future colonoscopies. Dr. Nealis reassured me that ii would be able to have the procedure without having a general anesthetic.. I was appreciative that that's exactly what happened, and very grateful that he took the time to listen to my concerns and address them in the most therapeutic manner.
