5.0 star star star star starDr. Kang is quite an excellent physician. She is knowledgeable, thorough, helpful, attentive, compassionate, and skillful in the procedures which she performs. She also listens well and thoughtfully answers questions. Northwestern.is very fortunate to have her as a wonderful member of the ophthalmology department.

5.0 star star star star starChristine, Dr. Kang's nurse is a real professional. Usually when the nurses have dilated my eyes in the past, they have touched and irritated my eye or eyes because they are rushing or they don't care but not Christine, she was skilled. I am so happy I had her today. Dr. Kang gave me accurate information concerning my eyes. She knows I don't want surgery but she was kind but firm, it's coming!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kang is a wonderful physician. Her knowledge, skill and "bedside manner" work together to provide excellent care and a totally "health-affirming" environment. Northwestern is quite fortunate to have her in your employ.

5.0 star star star star starI'm not knowledgeable enough to truly evaluate her surgical skill, but everything seems to have gone extremely well, and the results so far are better than I was lead to expect. However, I can tell you that her communications with me about my condition and the necessary procedures have been second to none. In that respect, over all my 60 years, I have never received better medical care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
