5.0 star star star star starDr Collins was great! She explained everything to me in a way I completely understood and I will be well prepared for my surgery. I felt very confident with the decision we had decided on for which procedure I will have. I didn't feel like she was on a time clock and had to get me out of the office in 15 min, she took her time and I was very reassured.

5.0 star star star star starDrCollins takes the time and talks to you without rushing you. I had a procedure and she walked me through the entire process and let me watch what she was doing after she answered any questions that I had

5.0 star star star star starShe is an amazing surgeon. She is very thorough and detailed oriented. She found 2 tumors in my bladder that were small yet they were malignant. She saved me from future chemo and radiation due to her awareness and thoroughness. Dr. Patel was able to get both tumors out with no further treatments at this time. I have Dr. Collins to thank for that.

4.0 star star star star star_borderDr. Collins was very professional. I felt the team cared, but it had been a bit since I had completed the on-line survey which assisted in describing the different options. The decision on plan of care is not so straightforward, but I felt a bit pushed to come up with a plan. The resident had brought in a consent at the end of the visit. I was explained the procedure, but not so much the risks. I did receive the education in my portal following the appt and the materials provided me a much better picture of the procedure and risks. I consider myself pretty informed so am concerned about those not so informed about healthcare.

5.0 star star star star starShe did my surgery before and made me feel comfortable about what’s going on now. She eased some of my fears. She’ll be doing surgery in the near future and I have complete faith in her. So kind. That matters.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI felt that she was knowledgeable but I only met with her for a telehealth appointment and then for a brief moment at the end of the exam. Another doctor did my exam instead, and so I can't fully recommend her if it's unclear if a patient will meet with her directly.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI was very impressed with how Dr. Collins handled our telephone conference and would give her a very high score for our initial contact. Inasmuch as it was first contact with one another, I cannot give the NM Urogynecology Department a higher score until I've had more exposure and experience with Dr. Collins and the practice.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
