5.0 star star star star starHer student doctors were great with interpersonal skills, asked a lot of good questions and gave me time to remember the answers as they stretched back over decades. Dr. Kropp was calm, pleasant, professional, and clear in her questions and explanations.

5.0 star star star star starI trust her with my life and she is there for me over and over again. I am a handful facing a terrifying spine surgery at northwestern on December 5th and a second one December 8th. Since I met Dr Shannon Kropp I just begged her to keep me "alive" until my surgery now 2 weeks from today. She not only kept me alive as I arrived here from Florida in such pain and suffering, she did more than that when I first was lucky enough to meet her in January in the dead of winter. She's kept me wanting to thrive and hopeful.

5.0 star star star star starThe main criteria for a good doctor is to listen the what the patient want to say about his or her problem. She very patiently listen my thoughts first and then she acted. Her presence makes me a positive vibe. That's what a patient expect from a doctor.

5.0 star star star star starFrom the moment I walked into the office I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Dr. Kropp took time to get to know me, listen attentively to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions and explained everything clearly and compassionately. I never felt rushed and I left feeling reassured and empowered. Grateful to have her as my new PCP.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
